Thankfulness and gratitude are traits that seem to be sadly lacking in today's world. So many seem to spend so much time and energy complaining about everything, without a thought of how good they actually have it in this country. Gratitude is such a life-changing, outlook-altering attribute -it just affects so many things pertaining to our mind, body, soul and spirit.

In this song, I tried to create an image of a campfire, that provides light and heat to everything around it. And how a campfire takes work to keep it going, just like a thankful attitude. God help us to live a life of gratitude!

Dreams - we all have them. Sometimes dreams take a long time to get here. Sometimes they never arrive at all. And sometimes they get replaced by new and better ones. The secret, I guess, is to keep plugging onward, one foot in front of the other. And to keep our attitude positive, focused on the goal, not to get so impatient that we quit and give up. Someday is a song in which I've tried to unpack some of these emotions. Just wish I'd have learned some of this earlier in life!

Writing a love song isn't as easy as it looks, especially when you're trying to communicate with mere words emotions that are so deep and almost inexpressible. I met Gwen in church, and through a series of miraculous events, fell completely head over heels in love with her. There is not a doubt in our minds that God Himself orchestrated the events that lead to our engagement and subsequent marriage. This song, then is my attempt to communicate my emotions to her in a meaningful way, but at the same time, communicate to you, the listener, what an amazing, wonderful woman she is. I am indeed "amazed at how she loves me" ..................and - know what?
She still does!
